We haven’t done a This N’ That lately so here goes!
Two nice pieces of casting news relating to the next Batman Film entitled “The Dark Knight Rises!

Anne Hathaway (Love and Other Drugs) will be playing Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy (Inception/Band Of Brothers) has been cast as Bane!
Does the appearance of Selina necessarily mean that Catwoman will also be in the movie? Stay tuned!

Dark Knight Rises will hit Theaters in the Summer of 2012!
As anyone who has not been vacationing in another universe knows, BIG things are happening in Fantastic Four. Well #587 hits the stands this week in a BLACK POLYBAG and the Logo here might just give you a clue that things are going to be very different for the first family of comics. You MIGHT want to pick up an extra copy of this one. I know *I* will!

How about THESE cool shots from X-Men First Class?
Michael Fassbender is Magneto, Rose Byrne is Dr. Moira MacTaggert, January Jones is Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng is Azazel, Nicholas Hoult is Beast, Lucas Till is Havok, Zoe Kravitz is Angel Salvadore, Jennifer Lawrence is Mystique, James McAvoy is Professor X.

X-Men First Class is due to hit theaters on June 3rd, 2011!
Speaking of Marvel Superhero Movies, Thor is slated for a May 6th, 2011 opening!

AND it’s just going to be a HUGE summer for Merry Marvel Marching Society alumni as Captain America The First Avenger is set to release in JULY of 2011!!!

Soooo we have a major Marvel Movie release in May, June and July! Tail Gate Party much???!!!
Oh, and just so to round things out DC has a Superhero Movie of their own releasing on June 17, 2011…GREEN LANTERN!!!! Ryan Reynolds will star as the titular character and Mark Strong as his arch enemy Sinestro!

Well that sure IS a lot of THIS and even more of THAT!

Yes, let's all pick up extra copies, whether you read Fantastic Four or not and turn this into another 'Death of Superman'. Honestly, if someone doesn't read FF, I wouldn't tell them to pick up extra copies, it only cheapens the whole thing.
