NEWS & NEW STUFF FOR 6/14

A HUGE week coming up in comics, the list is immense! Also, congratulations to our lightsaber raffle winners, Chris McDonald and Zeno Rodrigo! For those who didn't win, don't worry! We've got another great raffle kicking off this week. In other news, we finally have a date for the Transformers Movie Tailgate Party. CBJ'S WIN SOME FUN STUFF RAFFLE RETURNS!

As you may know we recently started doing bi-weekly raffles. Our first items were a Anakin Skywalker Force FX Lightsaber and a Darth Vader Force FX Lightsaber. Now, starting on Saturday, June 13th, we'll be raffling off the Tonner Exclusive Joker Figure. This bad boy retails for $189.99 and is a limited edition made of vinyl and hard plastic, complete with 14 points of articulated villainous movement and high-quality details including rooted, green hair and hand-painted face detail. He comes dressed in a green shirt, orange corduroy vest, purple jacket, striped trousers, a black necktie, boots with white spats, and comes with his iconic cane. Display stand included. TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN TAILGATE PARTY

OK, the movie theater finally posted a midnight showing for Tuesday, June 23rd! Don't know about our movie tailgate parties yet? Shame on you! Here's the deal: grab your ticket to the midnight showing of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for Tuesday, June 23rd (technically Wednesday morning) and come hang out at Comic Book Jones starting at 9PM (or before if you like) for some free food, drinks and our special tailgate sale where we pick a number out of a hat, anywhere from 10%-70% OFF EVERYTHING IN THE STORE! This should be a good one, make sure you don't miss it!

YU-GI-OH MONDAY TOURNAMENTS

You asked for it, you got it! Every Monday we'll be holding Yu-Gi-Oh card tournaments. The formula is very similar to our Magic tournaments. It will take place every Monday at around 4PM and the entry fee is one booster pack of your choice. Prizes will be a couple of booster packs or a starter/tournament pack. If you don't know how to play come down anyway and we'll teach you!

MAGIC THE GATHERING SATURDAY TOURNAMENTS

Taking place on Saturdays at 3:00 PM, come join us for our weekly Magic the Gathering tournaments. Play is open to all! If you don't know how to play come on by and we'll gladly teach you! Entry fees for the tournament consists of a purchase of a couple of booster packs or tournament/starter pack. If you're interested don't hesitate to come on down and join us.

COMIC BOOK JONES TUESDAY TRIVIA NIGHT

Tuesday is Trivia night! The rules are simple and it's a lot of fun. Come down to the store around 6:00 PM for the sign up and choose to play by yourself or with a team (there is no limit to the amount of players on a team). There is a $2 buy in per person, all of the money going to the winning team. At 7:00 PM we'll begin the first of five rounds, each round containing 10 questions. Questions will generally hover around comic, sci-fi, TV, movie and other related trivia. After each round, points will be tallied up by the Quiz Master for that day and then we'll move on to the
next round. At the end of the fifth round a winner will be crowned trivia champion. It's a ton of fun and I promise you that if you come
once you'll want to come each and every week.
